I worked in atelier but was anxious to go for a walk. I decided not to have a destination and just explore. I tried to avoid tourists and did a good job of it. The trick was to walk down side streets. I ended up seeing beautiful cathedrals. I was surprised they were open and not having masses. The tourist sites were packed with people in the main parks and Notre Dame had long, long lines. Paris was open like any other weekend. Nothing was closed.
