Flea Market, Seine, Cenushki Musee
There was a flea market in front of the Cite and we browsed and bought some small items, We had croissants at a favorite Boulangerie. We walked over to the Parc de Plantes and enjoyed the tulips. At the Muisca Art Space we chatted with the owner. We went to the Cenushki Musee and saw some Vietnamese art. We strolled in the Parc Monceau where Monet painted a few pictures. The park was filled with picnics, lounging people and children playing. Later we went to Camille Restaurant and a short stroll back to the atelier where we began packing.

Dr. Gachet’s House
Dr. Gachet attended Vincent during his last 70 days. Vincent made some paintings of Gachet’s garden. Gachet knew many of the artists like Pissarro and Cezzane who often visited. Gachet collected art and was an amateur painter. VanGogh did a painting of Gachet.
Auvers sur Oise
Vincent Van Gogh spent the last 70 days of his life at Auvers sur Oise under the care of Dr, Gachet. He rented a tiny attic room in the local Inn. He painted a picture a day of the buildings, people and landscape around him. He shot himself in the chest and returned to his room where he died a few days later. He had a wake in the Inn surrounded by his paintings. He is buried next to his brother on the outskirts of town. The town is now restored and gentrified and very pleasant though the story of Vincent is sad.
