Blasphemous Icon, 2026, 40x30"

I have been working with contrasts.  Duo painting's subject and color meet and the story is told. The viewer sees the seam, a boundary. I have choose this way of presenting my current images to tell a story of differences, compromises and blends. Sometimes boundaries are crossed that present wholeness other times we see tensions, compliments or compromises. "Blasphemous Icon" is an exception while I am concentrating  on the diptychs. Occasionally, a singular image appears which has a wholeness and I have nowhere else to go.
